Tests on E72 (WM6std):

  • STUN enabled/disabled: OK
  • NAT detection: OK
  • ICE enabled/disabled: OK
  • Audio call with pjsua PC:
    • backend PA
    • latency PC->device about > 500ms
    • latency device->PC about <= 300ms
    • codec PCMU:
      • heard cracky noise on device
      • heard noisy background on PC (device's input volume?)
    • codec G722.1:
      • clipping on both sides, but when headset was plugged into device, clipping was reduced a lot on both sides, perhaps both input & output volume in device were set too high (by default)
      • still noisy background on PC, even when device's headset was plugged in.

Tests on Xda O2 (WM6pro):

  • App used: PocketPJ
  • Registration: OK
  • STUN enabled/disabled: OK
  • ICE enabled/disabled: OK
  • Audio call with pjsua PC:
    • PA auddev backend
    • latency both ways <= 300ms
    • codec PCMU & G722.1
      • good quality on both sides

Verified run okay on PPC 2003 and SP 2003 after fix in ticket #828

Note: the above was on 2003 emulators

pjsua_wince runs okay on WM5 smartphone emulator. Did not test with making calls or anything.

PocketPJ also runs okay on WM5/WM6 PPC emulator. Could not register, possibly due to loopback adapter on the host computer was disabled.
