#450 closed enhancement (wontfix)

PJLIB function to query the DNS server configured in the system

Reported by: bennylp Owned by: bennylp
Priority: minor Milestone: Known-Issues-and-Ideas
Component: pjlib Version: trunk
Keywords: Cc:
Backport to 1.x milestone: Backported: no

Description (last modified by bennylp)

Currently PJLIB lacks a portable function to query what is the DNS server being configured/used in the system. On Windows, this can be done by calling GetNetworkParams(), while on *nix this has to be done by parsing /etc/resolv.conf.

TeluuCon? 2018: not so popular, possible portability issues, and perhaps not easy to maintain API changes.
