Increase the randomness of guid_simple

Ticket #277 had pointed out that guid_simple.c can only generate 2^{16 bit of randomness in the GUID values. Although there is a workaround to use libuuid to replace it, this may not be available on all platforms, hence it needs to be fixed.}
